Before Kristian Cole returned to his hometown of Dallas and joined the part-time staff at Tailwaters in January 2016, he spent time fishing on the Texas Coast while attending Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. The store says Kristian has since evolved into one of its most critical team leaders, wearing many hats.
With a passion for incredible customer service, fly tying and education, Kristian is also working into a more solidified role in the travel department. While he enjoys local bass fishing with friends and clients, he has also gained a ton of experience frequenting some of customers’ favorite destinations: Mexico, Alaska, Argentina, Bolivia and Cuba, and with more international experiences soon to come,
He is expected to share his experiences at some of those places with us at the Nov. 1 membership meeting at our usual venue, the UNT Health Science Center at 3500 Camp Bowie Blvd. in Fort Worth.This is an in-person event!
In addition to his knowledgeable and enthusiastic presence on the sales floor, Kristian takes the lead in outfitting our travel business clients for all of our destinations as well as a leader on our buying team. In 2019 Kristian helped develop our fly tying department, as well as Dallas Tyers Club, a monthly get-together at the shop.
