Trinity FlyFest 2026: The Premier Fly Fishing Event in Texas
With other fly fishing events not happening in Texas this year, Trinity FlyFest is set to shine as the premier event once again in 2026. Having been part of this celebration since its inception, we believe this may very well be the best FlyFest ever!
What’s New This Year?
Expect an incredible lineup of speaker presentations from across the state, covering topics such as:
- Coastal saltwater adventures
- Warm-water fishing in the Hill Country
- Cold trout waters and more
These sessions will feature some of the best presenters FlyFest has ever hosted, offering insights and tips for anglers of all experience levels.
Fly Tying Tent
Don’t miss the fly tying tent! This year’s lineup of tiers will showcase multiple techniques to elevate your tying skills and help you catch more fish. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss.
The Big Trout Contest
The highlight of FlyFest remains the Big Trout Contest. Picture this: relaxing on the banks of the Trinity River, enjoying a local craft brew, and watching anglers compete for BIG prizes. If last year was any indication, this year’s contest will be unforgettable—make plans now to be part of it!
