Club, as reported by Brett Morehead, the trip to the Blue River has been postponed. We will wait to see how the conditions play out, before scheduling a trip up to fish the Blue. Stay tuned.
However, excited to announce that Will Herring, owner of the Brazos River Fish Camp, who is also our November Speaker, has agreed to let us meet up on his property, and use his place to access the Brazos River. The stretch of water above and below his place is some of the best water the Brazos has to offer in regards to all styles of fly fishing. Float trips, and wade fishing will be available for us to enjoy.
Depending on your preferred style of fishing, you will have three ways of fishing on this outing. First option is a very long float trip, of which there will be a way to have a shuttle available. Second option is to float above, in front and below his property. Third option is to wade in front of his place, or down river some at another great wade access location. For two dollars, this is the best wading option available. If you plan on attending, and requesting a shuttle for the long float trip, please let us know.
Maps will be provided at the November outing, along with all of the other details. Along with techniques, flies, and answers to any questions you may have. This will be a day trip only. Bring your own hydration liquids and food.
Meet here see you there!
