It is getting close to our next 101 session, which will be all about panfish. This innovative package included a Sept. 26 online presentation, and next is our Oct. 7 starting at 9 a.m. Join the club for our Local Panfish 101, hosted by Russell Husted, being held at Fox Hollow Park. With conditions rough on local ponds due to low water levels and high temps, we believe this our best option for the club. It’s a great little pond for a Tenkara rod and a popper. FYI, the park does not have any public bathrooms.

Panfish are so much fun to catch with an ultralight fly rod, and can be found in so many different waters, both local and abroad. This will be the last focus of gamefish for the year, and we guarantee you will get loads of information through these two events. Don’t miss these, and hope to see you there.
