The Jan. 19 FF101/outing on the Brazos below the Possum Kingdom dam has been canceled. Water flows are at dangerous levels, the weather outlook is atrocious and the state has not been stocking trout because of the high river flows. It’s a completed turnaround from last year’s wonderful conditions that drew a great crowd, and the club’s board decided the best decision was to cancel and let everybody know as soon as we could. The event has not been rescheduled.
So check out our two upcoming outings to Beavers Bend State Park in Oklahoma in February and the March sand bass run on the Nolan River. Both are favorites that offer plenty of fun and fellowship.
