Fort Worth Fly Fishers’ annual Holiday Party will again be at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, 3220 Botanic Garden Blvd., in the Redbud Room. There will be heavy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments provided, and you can also bring your own wine, beer or other drinks. The event, as always, serves as our December membership meeting and runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Due to a family emergency, our previously scheduled speaker, Spencer Seim, will not be able to make his presentation on salmon flies and his part in the development of The Feather Thief, which tells the story of the 2009 theft of hundreds of rare bird skins from a branch of the British Museum of Natural History. We are working on an alternative program and will post updates here and on our Facebook page as they occur.

The annual Holiday Party remains a great event for fellowship and we encourage you to attend. Cost is just $10 for members and their guests, and $20 for non-members.
