The biggest event of the year for our club is our annual Auction, set for 3:00pm- 7:00pm, Saturday, April 30 at University Christian Church (Fellowship Hall) at 2720 S University Dr, Fort Worth.
We have some great trips, art, framed salmon flies, and opportunities for personal casting lessons with some Certified Casting Instructors, fly tying lessons and a lot of other items. Live auction items include fly fishing trips to Idaho, the Everglades, Colorado, Arkansas, New Mexico along with some great lakes and private waters in Texas.
Come early to browse the array of live and silent auction items, as well as raffle items. We’ll also have a members’ “garage sale” with used gear and other fun things. We’ll have a couple of food trucks and will provide two vouchers per family for free food. Also, we’ll be giving drawing the winner of the kayak.
All proceeds help our club fulfill our mission of education, conservation and helping worthy groups like Reel Recovery, Casting for Recovery and Project Healing Waters.
