The Fort Worth Fly Fishers’ May meeting will be a Skills & Knowledge Event.
Instead of having a single guest speaker, we decided to open it up for our members to share their knowledge with the club in a less formal manner. We plan on having several stations set up for you to expand your fly fishing IQ. Some of the stations included will be aquatic entomology, making your own dubbing blends, leader building, local water access, knot tying, making nymphing rigs, intro to fly tying, Colorado trout fishing, and learning about our club’s social media sites and website features.
We are still seeking volunteers to set up your own station if you have a skill or knowledge you would like to share. Do you fish saltwater? Target carp on the fly? Knowledgeable about Tenkara? Share your knowledge! What you give will be well rewarded with what you get back! Email fortworthflyfishers@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer.
