The Southwest Nature Preserve in Arlington celebrates its 4th anniversary on Oct. 28. Among the activities planned is a fly fishing demonstration, which basically means you just show up and wow the visitors with your technique. Easy, and there’s even hot dogs and munchies starting at 6 p.m. Whether or not you visit the SWNP, located south of Interstate 20 on Bowman Springs Road, consider participating in the demonstration from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 28. To volunteer, Contact  Jim Fuquay, a club member who also serves on the Friends of the SWNP steering committee, at jimfuquay@gmail.com. And thanks.
